Yesterday we went to town for the speechs Andrea,Jordyn ,KristinTe Rata,Kayne,Karyn,Destiny,Nellie,kupu and I, stood up he comps.Ethan and couldn't stand, there was some reason why they couldn't stand I dont know?The comps were at the Wananga.All the speechs were awsome but the speeach that stood out to me was Hurus she won both pake and maori and he big cup, She was A W E S O M E!!!!! How i felt when i stood? I felt awesome because I did it. It took a lot for me to get up there and speech.I felt a little bit nervous but it fells good to know that it is over. Naku noa Stacey Brown

Learning Intention
We are learning to work co-operatively to build a hut that will enhance our school.
Success Criteria We will know we have done this when we have worked together as a team. When we have finished our hut and when we can share our hut with our whanau.
ECO HUT!!!!!! The things i remember are:I remember going up to the marae to get some Harakeke,well the boys and Goergette went up to get some bamboo.When we went up to get some harakeke we needed someone to do karakiaso we could cut the harakeke and the person who did karakia was me.We needed a teacher to come with us so koka Edith came up with us .We got ten bundles of flax that had ten in each bundles.After we finsh that we walked back down to theschool , not long after we got their the boys came.I remember presenting the our Eco hut along with Andarea and Joy. Ngatapa and Makauri came to school to judge ourEco hut after they finshed judged our hut we went around to Ngatapas hut theirs was MEAN AS!!!!!!after we judged Ngatapas we went staight around to Makauris theirs was cool very creative well wewere their the Gisborne herold came all of our hard work paid off because we WON!!! and our Ecohut is stil standing.AND THATS MY ECO HUT STORYNaku noa Stacey Te Arai Wini Brown
